What we collect, and where it comes from
Enquiry form on this site. If you ask us to check your area, we collect your name, phone number, email address, business name, your trade or service, the area you work in, and how much extra work you could take on.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms. We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). If you respond to one of our adverts and submit a lead form, Meta passes us the details you entered — typically your name, contact details and answers to the form's questions. Meta also processes your data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Direct contact. If you email, call or message us, we keep a record of the correspondence.
Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type and pages requested — in server logs used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site (see our cookie policy).
How we use your data, and our lawful bases
To respond to your enquiry — assessing availability in your area, likely appointment volume and the rate for your trade, and contacting you about it. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you made, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To provide our service if you become a partner — booking appointments into your diary and running your account. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
To tell you about our own services where you have enquired or worked with us. Every marketing message we send includes a way to opt out, and we stop if you ask. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in marketing our services to business contacts.
To meet legal obligations — accounting, tax and responding to lawful requests. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never share it with other advertisers or lead resellers. When our form says your details are private and never sold or shared, this policy is the small print behind that promise — and it says the same thing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only process your data on our instructions: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Microsoft 365 (email), Meta (advertising — only if you responded to one of our adverts), and the booking and CRM platform we use to manage enquiries, appointments and partner accounts. We may also share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers under confidentiality.
If you become a partner, appointment details are shared between you and the customer whose appointment we book — that is the service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go anywhere are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. If you become a partner, we keep account records for the life of the relationship plus 6 years (the period UK law expects business and tax records to be held). Server logs are short-lived and rotate automatically.
International transfers
Some of our providers (for example Cloudflare, Microsoft and Meta) process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum with standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data (access), ask us to correct it (rectification), delete it (erasure), restrict how we use it, object to processing based on legitimate interests (including direct marketing, where we will always stop), and ask for your data in a portable format. None of these cost anything, and we respond within one month.

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data — for example, if we add analytics to this site — we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
